Rail: Train from Geneva-Airport to Martigny (approx. 1h45 min.)
For timetable details, see the Swiss federal railways at
Taxi: Taxis are usually waiting in front of the Martigny train station. The (very short) journey to Idiap should never cost you more than 20 CHF (max flat rate after 10:00pm).
If you come by car:
From Geneva take the highway to Lausanne. In Lausanne, take highway direction Gd-St-Bernard / Martigny. Take first Martigny exit (Martigny – Fully), at the first roundabout, go straight and at the secound roundabout take a left (4th exit) and follow direction “Centre du Parc”; rue Marconi is the 2nd street on your right and the Idiap building is just there on your left. There is a visitor parking.
By walk from Martigny Train Station:
If you don't carry too many heavy bags and can easily walk 5-10 minutes, Idiap-Centre du Parc is accessed very easily by foot from the train station. From the under rail tunnel just follow the sign "Centre du Parc". Bringing you to the back of the train station (opposite of the city center), and following this sign, you will reach Idiap in a nice, easy (out of traffic), walk and will quickly see the building from a distance.
